Refund Policy

1. Overview
IdeaCheck sells digital analysis credits and optional monthly subscriptions through our payment partner (Creem). Because credits are delivered electronically and can be consumed immediately, refunds are limited as described below.
This policy supplements our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict, this Refund Policy governs refund requests.
2. What you are buying
- One credit = one full saved evidence report (standard or deep, depending on the product purchased).
- Lifetime credits (Try Once, 5-Pack, Deep Report) do not expire unless stated otherwise at checkout.
- Starter subscription credits are valid for the current billing period only; unused period credits expire when the period ends.

3. Eligible refunds
We may approve a full or partial refund when:
- You were double-charged or charged after a successful cancellation of a subscription renewal.
- Credits were not delivered to your account within a reasonable time after payment (typically within one hour) and our support team cannot restore them.
- A technical failure on our side prevented you from receiving a completed report after a credit was deducted, and we cannot re-run or restore the report.
- You request a refund within 14 days of purchase and have not used any credits from that purchase (including subscription period credits issued for that payment).
4. Non-refundable situations
Refunds are generally not provided when:
- One or more credits from the purchase have already been used to generate a report.
- You are dissatisfied with AI-generated content quality (outputs vary with your inputs).
- You forgot to cancel a subscription before renewal — contact us promptly; we may offer a one-time goodwill credit at our discretion.
- Unused subscription credits expired at the end of a billing period (by design).
- Your account was terminated for violating the Terms of Service.
5. Subscriptions (Starter plan)
- You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals.
- We do not refund the current billing period after credits have been issued, except where required by law or section 3 applies.
- Manage or cancel through your Creem customer portal link (from receipt email) or contact support.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@ideacheck.ai from your account email with:
- Date and amount of the charge
- Product purchased (Try Once, 5-Pack, Starter, etc.)
- Whether any credits were used (and report IDs if applicable)
- Reason for the request
We aim to respond within 2–3 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method; timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a payment dispute. Unauthorized chargebacks for delivered digital goods may result in account suspension.
